What Is Wet Magnetic Separator Used For?

CTBY Permanent Magnet Cylinder Magnetic Separator for Pre-Selection:
It is suitable for wet pre-selection of magnetite after fine crushing and before entering into the mill, with the size below 10mm.

Working Principle of Wet Magnetic Separator

Wet permanent magnetic separator can be divided into three types, namely, Downflow type, Countercurrent type and Semi-countercurrent type, according to the different structure of the bottom of the box.

Downstream type permanent magnetic cylinder magnetic separator: the direction of pulp feeding and cylinder steering is the same, the concentrate is discharged on the other side, tailings are discharged directly at the bottom, generally used in 6 ~ 0mm strong magnetic minerals roughness, selection, low recovery, high grade (due to the strong magnetic flipping effect), but not suitable for dealing with fine particles (due to the cylinder and the relative speed of the slurry movement is relatively low, the cleaning effect of the poor)

Countercurrent permanent magnetic cylinder magnetic separator: the direction of pulp feeding and cylinder steering the opposite direction, concentrate is discharged on the feeding side, tailings are discharged with the other side. The concentrate is discharged on one side of the feed, and the tailings are discharged on the other side. Generally used in 0.6-0mm strong magnetic ore roughing, sweeping, high recovery rate (because the tailings discharge point far from the feed mouth, full selection) but low grade (because of the poor magnetic flipping effect).

Semi-countercurrent permanent magnetic drum: the direction of slurry feeding and cylinder steering half the same, half the opposite, and downstream type is different from the slurry in the slot turned a circle. Because the slurry is washed by the dispersal water into a loose shape, can prevent entrainment, and the direction of the slurry movement and the direction of the magnetic force is the same, is conducive to the recovery due to the 0.5-0mm strong magnetic ore coarse, fine, sweeping recovery, grade are high, the slurry surface is smooth, and thus the selection is stable. Therefore, it is widely used.
